Who We Are

The Law Offices of Carey Linde is a family law practice in Vancouver British Columbia with experienced divorce lawyers concentrating in custody law, shared parenting, parental alienation, divorce, marital separation, separation agreements and other matrimonial and marriage issues, as well as collaborative divorce and law.

Our Focus

The central focus of our legal practice is in helping kids see more of their fathers (or moms, if dad somehow has sole custody). The men's and father's movements, supported by lots of very good women, deserve credit for the change in the courts in the past decade towards recognizing the importance of fathers. There remains an enormous way to go before we approach anything remotely resembling actual equality in the roles of both separated parents.

Every father who stands up for his children in court against the "maternal preference - primary caregiver - tender years" myth, and demands equal physical time is helping children everywhere.

Diversity

The Law Offices of Carey Linde is an ethnically diverse environment. Associate Kiran Duhra is a Punjabi- and Hindi-speaking Family and Divorce Lawyer. Being able to discuss matters in a client's first language often makes the process much less stressful than it would be otherwise.

Collaborative Law

Our lawyers practise Collaborative Law. Collaborative law is the practise and art of settling cases without court intervention at any stage. Through this practice, we save many of our clients the time, stress, and costs of needing to go to court. This greatly eases the pain and disruption that goes along with many divorces.
